Features of tabiRela

Loose width design with soft soles

tabiRela has a wide toe design for less tightness, and the insole is made of 100% cotton stitches that feel good against the skin, making the shoes feel thin, soft, and barefoot-like.

Made in Kurashiki

Marugo Corporation’s own factory in Chayamachi, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, produces “new style Tabi Shoes,” which are handcrafted by skilled craftsmen who spend time on each item.

Upper material <Takeyari Canvas>

The fabric is made by Takeyari Corporation, a long-established canvas manufacturer in Kurashiki with a 130-year history. The company uses a unique weaving method not found in ordinary cotton fabrics, which makes it possible to produce a suppleness that is comfortable to the foot with the moderate strength typical of canvas.

Insole material <Sashiko weave>

100% cotton stitch weave is used for a texture that feels good against the skin. The uneven surface of the cotton material reduces the area in contact with the skin and has the property of absorbing heat and sweat, making it cool and comfortable to wear barefoot even in summer.
